Lung Cancer Fundraiser: Duellman Family for Rich Duellman
Support the fight to beat lung cancer!
Our Cause: Richard Duellman, Father to Jon Duellman and Father-in-Law to Natalie Duellman was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed 12/6/17. Rich was a wonderful man whose life ended short due to lung cancer. Beyond caring for and protecting his family, Rich showed a passion for caring for and protecting others through his career as a Minnesota State Patrol Officer. After he retired from the Minnesota State Patrol, he continued to show genuine concern and compassion for those around him supporting his family and community.
We are fundraising for the 12th Annual A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities because:
Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer, claiming more lives than breast, colon and prostate cancers COMBINED;
More than 160,000 Americans will die of lung cancer this year. Half are nonsmokers when diagnosed; and
Lung cancer research remains dramatically underfunded.
The A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities began in 2007 after a group of lung cancer patients, their family members and their nurse experienced the lack of awareness, resources and support for this devastating disease. They realized that without action, the then 15% survival rate would not improve.
A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) in 2008 to fight lung cancer through awareness, patient and family support and innovative lung cancer research.
Please consider a donation to support my efforts to beat this unfair and misunderstood disease.
