2019 A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities

Miss Marj

Hey team,

I ask more of you every year and I appreciate how everyone does what they can, so I ask one more thing.  Let's try and get more money donated than we did last year to support the research that may find a cure for this terrible disease.  Please ask your friends, relatives or co-workers to donate to our team.  Any amount will do. Take whatever they will give but don't take "no" for an answer.  Thank you for being on the team!

Support the fight to beat lung cancer!

We are fundraising for the 12th Annual A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities because:

  • Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer, claiming more lives than breast, colon and prostate cancers COMBINED.
  • More than 160,000 Americans will die of lung cancer this year. Half are nonsmokers when diagnosed; and
  • Lung cancer research remains dramatically underfunded.

The A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities began in 2007 after a group of lung cancer patients, their family members and their nurse experienced the lack of awareness, resources and support for this devastating disease. They realized that without action, the then 15% survival rate would not improve.

A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) in 2008 and fights lung cancer through awareness, patient and family support and innovative lung cancer research.

Please consider a donation to support our team’s efforts to beat this unfair and misunderstood disease.
