Anita Cure for Lung Cancer
Support Anita Cure for lung cancer!
We are fundraising for the 13th Annual A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities because:
- Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer, claiming more lives than breast, colon and prostate cancers COMBINED.
- More than 160,000 Americans will die of lung cancer this year. Half are nonsmokers when diagnosed; and
- Lung cancer research remains dramatically underfunded.
As many of you know my Mom, Anita passed away from Lung Cancer in 2006. It was very aggressive and took her way too soon! We would love for you to join our team, "Anita Cure for Lung Cancer" to help raise money to fight for this important cause!
In 2007, a small group of us, including my then infant son Ari (who is named for my mom) participated in the first A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk. Since then, thousands of Twin Citians have fought to raise awareness, resources and support for this devastating disease.
A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) in 2008 and fights lung cancer through awareness, patient and family support and innovative lung cancer research.
Please consider a donation to support our team’s efforts to beat this unfair and misunderstood disease.
